Chicago Women in HPC (WHPC) is an organization that seeks to create an inclusive community for women and their allies in high-performance computing in the Midwest (US) to address the gender imbalance in HPC. Our goal is to serve as a hub for engagement, education, and support to current and aspiring members of the HPC community.
We strive to empower, inspire, mentor, and educate women and underrepresented communities across all strata of the high-performance computing field. By creating a collaborative environment to share and incubate ideas, Chicago WHPC aims to support participants as they explore HPC professional career paths by providing resources and support.

Our organization also aims to engage women working in HPC and encourage young women to pursue HPC careers by highlighting the achievements of underrepresented people in the field and providing educational resources and opportunities.
